About Us

For over 30 years Davies Framing Services has made sure your ideas look there best. We hand pick and hand make each frame which means you'll have a unique and bespoke piece to compliment any of your ideas.

James Davies established Davies Framing Services in 1982 and since then we've become a picture framers reknown for high quality bespoke framing. As James was a master carpenter he understood how to work with wood and since day one we've continued to work with that material. Soon after opening James was joined by his daughter and current owner, Marilyn Jenkins. Marilyn gained all her knowledge from her father and today she's one of the UK leading picture framers. Her knowledge is endless and her passion for art means every item that's framed meets very high standards.

Davies Framing has become one of the leading picture framers in Wales and she now works with an endless list of organisation, artists, designers, photographers and students. We work with some of the UK's most creative artists which means our framing is constantly being challenged. You'll see examples of the work we've produced in gallery section.

What We Offer

Mouldings

Here at Davies Framing Services we specialise in solid wood frames. All of our frames are handmade and measured to suit the art work. We work with you to showcase your artwork to your budget

Mounts

Our mount boards are available in a huge range of colours and all acid free. There made to measure so any artwork is protected and shown at its best.

Glass

Our Glass is cut to size and our most popular product is Tru Vue glass. Alongside that we stock Art and Float glass. We will show you all options when you come to visit us.

Exhibitions

We offer advice and guidance to everyone we work with. Over the years we've support 100's of exhibitions and artists. If you're planning an exhibition or need some advice please call, message us or pop in.

Textiles

Embroidery, Crochet to Quilting and tapestry. We treat each piece likes its our own and make sure we display them to your expectation.

Shirts

Framing shirts is a popular request and we feel that our final product is exceptional. We careful position and frame these items leaving no trace.

Hardware

We stock a wide range of Hooks, Fittings, Screws, Strutbacks and display fittings.
